Glucose Log

Old-fashioned paper glucose log. List your insulin dosing as well as your sliding scale (if applicable). Suggestions for getting a more “clear” picture if only testing once daily. You can also combine this with the glucose log data analysis to give a more robust picture of what your sugar is doing.

Note that the data analysis is only intended for once daily testing to get a very approximate idea of what your average may be. This may not be anywhere close to your true A1c, but should give you a “broad” idea of what is happening with your sugar. The best, and now standard, method is with a CGM such as the Freestyle Libre or Dexcom to get the “Time in Range”.
