Ingredients

Seasoning

  • 2 tsp nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • tsp sea salt

Popcorn

  • tbsp refined coconut oil
  • ½ cup popcorn kernels preferably organic
  • tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • sea salt to taste

Instructions

  • Mix the herb seasoning ingredients in a small bowl
2 tsp nutritional yeast, 1 tsp dried basil, 1 tsp dried thyme, 1 tsp garlic powder, ⅛ tsp sea salt
  • Make the popcorn by taking a large stockpot and heating the refined coconut oil over medium heat. Add a couple kernels of corn, put on the lid, and shake it around every so often. Once one pops, the pan is ready.
    1½ tbsp refined coconut oil
  • Add the remaining kernels and cover. Shake the pan every couple of seconds to prevent burning. They should start popping within 30 seconds.
    ½ cup popcorn kernels
  • When the pops slow down, turn off the heat and pour the popcorn into a big bowl. Drizzle the olive oil on top and toss to coat.
1½ tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Sprinkle in the herb seasoning and add salt to taste. Enjoy as a nice snack.
    sea salt

Notes

If you can’t find refined coconut oil, any high-heat oil will work.
